There are several places that are being effected by the warmth of our lovely earth. They used to be beautiful, majestic; but are now not so nice. Places like Darfur, in Africa and the Gulf Coast. Darfur is being affected because of the drought that occurs and the Gulf Coast is being affected because of the hurricanes that are being swept in. Hurricanes can only function on warm water, that’s why there aren’t any hurricanes in Alaska a places like that, because the water is not warm enough to support a hurricane. With the temperature of the water rising the Gulf Coast is going to see more hurricanes and harsher ones because the water’s temperature is increasing. The Great Reef Barrier will be destroyed as well as all this other stuff happening. Because of the carbon emissons that are being emerced from these factories, it is changing the pH level of the oceans. By doing this and putting more carbon into the waters, it is killing off the coral reef at a steady pace. The Alps are being affected as well. Because the warmth of the earth, the glaciers are melting in the Alps and that’s a total bummer for those who ski because there isn’t going to be much of that soon. There are other places that are being affected just as drastic as these. This was just a a few ones that we should be aware of. There are many glaciers and basically they’re all melting. Bummer :(
